    About the book

Like footprints washed away in the sand, the past is gone; as for the future, it does not yet exist. What we have at our disposal is the present moment. In this series of inspiring meditations, Chiara Lubich shows us that living tin the present is our way to be connected with the unlimited, eternity. Living the present moment puts us in touch, already here on earth, with heaven. "Everything is in God's hands," she says; his will is "always four our good."

Chiara Lubich's Here and Now meditations have the unifying theme of the meaning of time, the present moment, in our spiritual journey. Our time is limited, but the present moment is the way to be connected with what is unlimited and outside: eternity.

In the light of her Christian faith and a lifetime of experience with her friends, Chiara Lubich gives us advice on how to use well the "here and now." If we focus on the present moment, we are planting a seed in eternity, to be enjoyed forever.
