“On Point: A Guide to Living a Spirituality of Unity” is a video series that will introduce you to the pillars of the Spirituality of Unity of the Focolare Movement.
This episode brings us into the profound mystery of the Eucharist—as the source of spiritual strength, the sacrament of unity, and the model of self-giving love. We hear how Chiara Lubich and her first companions anchored their lives in front of the tabernacle, entrusting everything to Jesus present in silence. We witness how Eucharistic adoration transformed the life of nonprofit leader Laura Meisenhelter during a time of crisis, and how surrendering before the Eucharist made way for unexpected grace.
Fr. David Ryder deepens our understanding of the Eucharist as the bond of communion in a divided world—uniting people of different backgrounds, beliefs, and political views into one body of Christ. As we receive Jesus, we are called to become Jesus for others: to love radically, to give without counting the cost, and to let ourselves be “consumed” in love.
