Professor Calvo-Quirós is Director of Latino Studies at the University of Michigan. He holds doctorate degrees from both UCSB and Arizona State. His research and teaching focus on the connections and intersections between the multidisciplinary fields of religion, the migration of faith, Latina/o Studies, and digital religiosity. They also include explorations of the power of empathy and forgiveness to formulate new discourses in America.
