    About the book

The thirty sermons of Augustine collected here have been discovered since 1990. Before that date twenty-one of them were completely unknown; the other nine circulated in forms that were so truncated or reworked that the power and interest of the discourses had been diminished.

The English reads smoothly and clearly. The sermons have helpful subdivisions in the contents as well as the text. Highly recommended.
